Arch Linux
I tried my best to find an answer on google, etc. but I can’t find my exact problem.
I have an adapter that takes two playstation controller inputs and connects via USB. joydev is loaded, and I do see js0 and js1. I’m testing with cat /dev/input/jsX, but nothing is showing up when I hit buttons. Any ideas? I used this exact adapter before without any problems about a year ago using arch (no idea what kernel version or anything), and I don’t think I had to do anything besides load joydev, although it’s possible.
Any ideas? This device is just called Twin USB Joystick in most places. I think dmesg was calling it pantherlord.

Re: [SOLVED] Twin USB PSX Joystick problem
Does it works on another OS ? I have also one and I remember there is a switch on it, did you forget to set it for PC ?
Ah, good taste! What a dreadful thing! Taste is the enemy of creativeness.

Re: [SOLVED] Twin USB PSX Joystick problem
I actually built it into the computer, so I can’t easily test it on another os. I don’t remember ever seeing a switch on mine. Here is some relevant dmesg.

Re: [SOLVED] Twin USB PSX Joystick problem
Ok nevermind it seems that my PS2 controller died somehow since the last time I used it. I tried another and it worked fine.
